Two Genomac presentations will be shown during the AACR meeting Colorectal Cancer: From Initiation to Outcomes (September 17 - 20, 2016, Tampa, FL).
A poster titled "B09: Molecular phenotyping of colorectal tumors in clinical practice: Assignment of extended prognostic subtypes by direct testing of endoscopic specimens" will be presented as a result of recently concluded project aimed at molecular characterization of colorectal adenomas and carcinomas. A second poster titled "B24: The significance of postoperative follow-up of patients with advanced colorectal cancer using circulating tumor DNA - selected case studies"will illustrate clinical application of Genomac liquid biopsy assay. February 2 - UPCOMING PRESENTATIONS at AACR 2016 (American Association of Cancer Research, USA)

Two posters authored by Genomac research team will be presented during the AACR 2016 meeting (April 16 - 22, 2016, New Orleans, LA).

The first work titled "Liquid biopsy (ctDNA) testing in clinical management of solid cancers: 5-years of experience" will describe application of Genomac technology for the detection of circulating tumor DNA in a variety of clinical applications, most notable the liquid biopsy testing of advanced cancer stages. It will summarize results from a number of collaborations with leading clinical cancer centers in the Czech Republic. The presentation (poster no. 3139) will take place during the Circulating Biomarkers 2 session (Poster Section 22) on Tuesday Apr 19, 2016 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

The second work titled "Detection of specific KRAS mutation type, Gly12Asp (GGT>GAT), in EUS-guided fine needle aspiration cytology (EUS-FNAC) identifies pancreatic cancer patients with poor prognosis" will introduce a new negative prognostic marker in the management of pancreatic cancer patients. The presentation (poster no. 4943) will take place during the Biomarkers for Gastrointestinal Cancer session (Poster Section 24) on Wednesday Apr 20, 2016 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. The work is a result of a Genomac collaboration with the Department of internal Medicine at the Military University Hospital in Prague.
