DNA Art

For dogs — art made from your pet's DNA

Your dog is one of a kind — and their DNA proves it. From your pet's genetic code we create a picture, an artistic painting with their portrait, or a tattoo design.

Art made from your pet's DNA

Do you love your dog and miss them when they are not with you? Or does someone close to you have a four-legged favourite? Have your pet immortalised in a picture or a tattoo using the unique genetic code in their DNA.

The principle is the same as for the Genoportrét for people: in the laboratory we analyse the genetic markers from the sample collected and then turn their unique combination into a colour composition. The result is a work nobody else in the world has — because no other dog has the same DNA.

And thanks to the choice of many formats, colours and materials, it suits any interior.

What we offer for dogs

Three ways to immortalise your dog's genetic uniqueness.

GenoArt

GenoArt

from CZK 5,990

An individually created graphic painting of your canine companion which, besides their portrait, also depicts their unique genetic code — as coloured “rungs” inside the DNA helix.

“Dog” Genoportrét

“Dog” Genoportrét

from CZK 4,490

Your dog's genetic code in lines, over a background formed by their digital photograph. You can choose a version with one dog, two dogs, or a dog and a person.

“Dog” tattoo

“Dog” tattoo

from CZK 4,500

A tattoo design based on your dog's genetic code. A print of their paw makes a natural template, but it can be worked into practically any motif — flowers, for instance.

How it works

From order to finished work in four steps.

1. A collection kit by post

Once you have ordered, we will send you a kit for collecting the DNA sample, with detailed instructions.

2. A swab from the mouth and a photo

At home you simply swab your dog's mouth — much as when you clean their teeth. Send the samples back to us in the envelope provided and choose a photograph of your dog or a template for the tattoo.

3. Analysis and design

In our laboratories we extract the DNA from the sample, carry out the analysis and work the resulting genetic code, together with the image, into the finished piece. We send you a preview for approval.

4. Ready within 4 weeks

We usually manage to produce the work within four weeks of the sample arriving. More demanding individual adjustments may extend that period.

Sizes, materials and colours

Wall versions come in sizes S (40 × 30 cm), M (60 × 40 cm), L (80 × 60 cm), XL (100 × 70 cm) and XXL (150 × 100 cm).

We print the works on canvas, alu-bond (a matt metallic look) or acrylic (a glossy surface). From size XL upwards, acrylic versions are supplied reinforced with an aluminium panel, which increases their durability.

You choose the colour scheme from a colour chart after ordering — making the work easy to match to your interior.
